Alex's presentation is persuasive. I like how he says he could read to the turtle to work on his reading abilities while making the turtle smarter.

It sounds like Bailey has really taken into consideration all the changes that will happen if we adopt a child. I am very proud of her reasons and her hard work!

Tyler's persuasive argument had great scientific backing as breakfast being a healthy meal and providing energy for the day. Who doesn't like breakfast and want more of it!? On the other hand, his comment of, if I had more breakfast "my stomach wouldn't hurt" I have to object to. If his stomach is 'hurting' I dare say it is because he's had too much breakfast! It is a little know fact that because Tyler gets up at the crack of dawn and eats breakfast at 6am, he has what we refer to as 'second breakfast' to see him through til lunch. So, as for the request of more breakfast I must respectfully disagree. :)

Zaben's persuasive is good. He as really taken the time to think of the educational view of the ds games to be able to have more ds time. He has done a good job on his reasonings.

I like Zaben's argument on the educational reason of the video games but I disagree with the extra time because it means less time for me to spend with him!

I liked Matt's argument. I especially liked that he was thinking about complex strategies in his Ninjago battles. I have no double that things would get more creative.

Carsyn, you had many good reasons why you want to drop out of gymnastics at Flip Shop and I understand why you feel that way. But I would like to share with you why I want you to stay in gymnastics. First, I think it keeps you active and healthy instead of sitting on the couch and watching tv after school. Second, I want you to be prepared for cheerleading, basketball or any other sport you want to play and gymnastics builds your muscles and gets your body in shape. Third, I think you are awesome at gymanstics and I don't want to see you stop doing something you are so good at. But, you did bring up a good option. I am willing to let you stop gymnastics at Flip Shop but I would like for you to start lessons at Amplify. I think you will really enjoy it there. Oh, and one more thing...let's take the summer off :)
