Study English pronunciation. I will teach you in my verse Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse. I will keep you, Suzy, busy, Make your head with heat grow dizzy. Tear in eye, your dress will tear. So shall I! Oh hear my prayer. Just compare heart, beard, and heard, Dies and diet, lord and word, Sword and sward, retain and Britain. Pronunciation (think of Psyche!) Is a paling stout and spikey? Won’t it make you lose your wits, Writing groats and saying grits? It’s a dark abyss or tunnel: Strewn with stones, stowed, solace, gunwale, Islington and Isle of Wight, Housewife, verdict and indict. Finally, which rhymes with enough, Though, through, plough, or dough, or cough? Hiccough has the sound of cup. My advice is to give up!!! English Pronunciation by G. Nolst Trenité Describe a situation where in your future career you may have to speak publicly.
I believe in myself and my ability to do my best.
I am intelligent. I am capable of greatness. I can learn. I will learn. I must learn. Today, I will listen. I will speak. I will see. I will think. I will feel. I will reason. I will read, and write. I will do all these things with one purpose in mind: to do my best. I am too smart to waste today. Why did Captain John Smith say to the colonists, "If you don't work, you don't eat." What was happening in the new English colony of Jamestown?
In the future, a monument will be built in your honor? What do you think the reason will be? Why?
