Peter & the Wolf
Jan 31st - Feb. 4th: After reading Sergei Prokofiev's Peter & the Wolf, the students will put the events of the story in order as a group and discuss. Each partner group will be assigned a part of the story to rewrite from the Wolf's point of view. These will be created in Smart Notebook and imported into i Photo in order to be put to music and viewed as a slideshow.

Instrument Families
Jan 24th - 28th: We will focus upon forming "Instrument Family" groups where the students will research with their group, the instrument types found in the family that they are given. Each student will contribute by defining and illustrating two instruments out of their family. The groups will be presenting the information at the end of their day at the gifted center.
